Our story
It started with canceled games.
RosterHire started in Wisconsin, watching the referee shortage cancel real games for real kids — not for lack of willing officials, but because the people who needed them had no way to find them in time.
That became our first feature: Emergency Fill, a way to get an urgent officiating gig in front of nearby officials in seconds. Then profiles, listings, applications, messaging, and hiring — everything a modern marketplace needs, built for the specific, seasonal, local reality of sports work.
We're independent, founder-built, and shaped by feedback from the ADs, coaches, and refs who use it.
